Below are some of the different programmes under which you can access funding for sessions.
Better Access to Mental Health Care
Book a long appointment with your GP and they can complete a Mental Health Care Plan and referral if a diagnosis of a mental health condition is made. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme you will be eligible for 6 sessions, for which you will receive a Medicare rebate of $88.25 (full fee $180- = $91.75 per session), and then a further 4 sessions if you need them per calendar year. There are a further 10 sessions available under temporary Covid provisions.
NOTE: I do not bulk bill.
SIRA Workers Compensation recipients are able to book an appointment for Psychology without a referral. 2 sessions are automatically approved by SIRA, with further sessions available if appropriate after submitting a request.
Self Managed NDIS participants are welcome to contact me for an appointment if their package includes funding for Psychology.
Plan Managed clients are able to access services in discussion with their plan managers.
