Below are some of the different programmes under which you can access funding for sessions.
Better Access to Mental Health Care
Victims of Crime
Book a long appointment with your GP and they can complete a Mental Health Care Plan and referral if a diagnosis of a mental health condition is made. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme you will be eligible for 6 sessions, for which you will receive a Medicare rebate of $86.15 (full fee $150 minus $86.15 = $63.85 per session), and then a further 4 sessions if you need them per calendar year.
NOTE: I am not able to accept new referrals requiring bulk billing.
NOTE: I am currently closed to new Victims of Crime referrals.
Victims of a crime committed in NSW, whether or not the crime has been reported to police, are eligible for counselling funded by NSW Department of Victims Services. Between 10 and 22 hours counselling related to the crime and its effects may be available.
Self Managed NDIS participants are welcome to contact me for an appointment if their package includes funding for Psychology.
Plan Managed clients are able to access services in discussion with their plan managers.
SIRA Workers Compensation recipients are able to book an appointment for Psychology without a referral. 2 sessions are automatically approved by SIRA, with further sessions available if appropriate after submitting a request.
